Richard N Thomas DipBS FBEng MaPS FRICS Worked as a Surveyor for the GLC Architect's Department for 5 years gaining experience in the Building Regulations, Housing Engineer's and District Surveyor's Offices. Joined Private Practice in 1978 as a Senior Surveyor involved in repair, conversion and improvement of buildings, new buildings and all aspects of Building Surveying with Local Authority and Housing Association clients. Formed Thomas Associates in 1982, continuing to be involved in all aspects of Building Surveying work for Housing Associations and private clients including Special Needs schemes with particular interest in improving energy efficiency in buildings and site safety.   Paul R Cavalli BSc(BS) FBEng MaPS FRICS Worked as a Surveyor in large West End Property Company undertaking repairs, maintenance and improvement works on housing estates and office blocks throughout the country. Moved to Lewisham in 1973 into Private Practice, undertaking rehabilitation and Special Needs Projects, modernisation works and residential surveys, leading a Project Team as Senior Surveyor. Assisted in the formation of Thomas Associates in 1982 as an Associate and became a Partner in 1985 when the Practice changed it's name to Thomas & Cavalli. During and following this period has continued to specialise on Special Needs Projects for a number of Housing Associations and Charitable Organisations, together with all aspects of Building Surveying work involving Refurbishment of existing buildings, New Build and Estate maintenance and repair.
